Paul’s Wow!

He didn’t know how else to feel, but, WOW!  I spoiled (his words) him a bit this year with his Birthday celebration; it was just the two of us (and Sophie & Tucker) and we enjoyed a nice night!  Paul had been traveling and gone a long time, so it was great to have him back!

I decorated our house up with Balloons, candles and Luminaries!!  Even Sophie enjoyed the decor :-)

Happy Birthday Paul!

We’re Going Back!!

We’re excited to announce that we’re heading back to Singapore for an extended period!  Yes, we are – thanks to Paul’s work.  I’m sad to leave our friends here for a bit but we’re also excited to see our friends in S’pore again!  Mom and Dad B have graciously accepted to take care of Sophie and Tucker - we're going to MISS THEM SO MUCH!!

I can’t wait to post fun pix of the wonderful city state, that is, Singapore!

Who can resist this place?!

Back in the States! (Covers Jun – Dec)

Well, we’ve been back for a few months now but somehow I got caught up in the renovation of our house and not in the habit of updating the blog.  So, I’m now going to make a concerted effort to be better about it – I think of it often and think up great posts but never get around to actually posting them.

So, this will explain the next few months of the blog.  I still have things to post from Singapore and things to post that happened probably yesterday.  If it’s from S’pore I’ll note the day it happened and I hope to get it up-to-date as soon as possible, so it’s not too confusing.  Additionally, I’m excited to announce that I’m starting a new blog: Layers of Spice.  Now, wait – don’t go there yet…I’ve only posted the description and formatted the background.  But, this new blog will specifically be about my adventures and misadventures in cooking.  I’ll re-post all of my classes (21) with Samia and then post new experiences to share.

Anyway, thank you for your patience.  I’ve also been having a philosophical debate with myself on whether this blog should be public or limited; it’s a little disconcerting to think that anyone can read it but also, as RB noted, really how secure are passwords, etc.  Let me know what you think…Blogger only allows 100 readers and with friends and family that limits things.  I really don’t know if I’m giving too much away or not in this blog.
It’s been an adjustment coming back here – I liked S’pore but I missed the U.S. and our family and friends.  But, the adventure is still with me and I miss terribly S, B, Y, T, K, A, L – you know who you are!!!!!

Here are some random pictures since we’ve been back – we’ve been blessed with beautiful sunsets and rainbows (Smile)

Tired Tuesday in Taipei

Tuesday, May 18th was a bit of an odd day for me; I was tired from all of the sightseeing! Smile. Anyway, I got some things done on the computer and watch the happenings outside!

One thing I caught was the window washers – kind of a fun sight and they got a kick out of me waving at them!

I also had a good time watching Clueless - I took this video for fun - it's Paul's favorite part - LOL! The funny this is, Paul hates Mentos!
