Ha! Who knows the reference to that title??
We worked really, really hard yesterday and luckily had the help of a neighbor boy, too. We rented a Dingo (see above) and also with wheelbarrows we moved 12 yards of dirt. Our neighbors thought we were crazy but we finished everything by dark (just before)!
Before we even got to the dirt we had to have the stump removed. Paul and I worked on the removing all of the feeder roots to the Locust Tree and then Paul called a stump grinder guy and he got the main trunk out in 20 minutes. He was impressed that we had done so much on our own.
We removed grass with the Dingo and I got quite adept at it but by the end of the day, Paul really enjoyed driving it around. Trees go in tomorrow - yeah! Two of the seven got delivered today and the rest (the big ones) arrive tomorrow!!!!!!!!!
We love our car - he is wonderful!!!!!
Just as a side note, our fall planting is looking great - hope we get to enjoy it before it gets cold!!
