I was awakened one morning a couple of weeks ago by the Apartment Management asking if they could come into our apartment today to change out the toilet bowl…now I was half asleep, so of course I said, “Okay,” and that they could come around 2pm because that would be when I was leaving for the day. I went back to sleep thinking that they had the wrong apartment because our toilets worked fine! Well, along came 2pm and ring, ring…can we come in now and replace the toilets? I said, “Are you sure you have the right apartment? Our toilets work fine.” She said, “Oh yes, we need to replace because of poor workmanship.” So, I opened the door to take away the do not disturb sign and they were actually waiting right outside the door to come in! Within 5 minutes they were banging away and taking apart the toilets! So, I left…was planning on it anyway, but I got a kick out of the experience and hey, you never know when you need a new “toilet bowl.”
