I just have to say, they really know how to create Christmas Cheer! I thought I would spread a little joy today and show you some great Christmas Pictures! I took it pretty easy today and tried out the pool but got rained out within 5 minutes, so the monsoon season does rear its ugly head here and there. I have a lot to do tomorrow to finalize preparations for Paul’s B-day! It should be a fun night with some Italian food and Swan Lake at the Esplanade.[Just as a little side note, I’m going to have to do a separate posting on Singaporeans fascination with Ice Cream – yes, Ice Cream! Hagen Daaz does quite a busy here – I bring it up because we went out for Japanese tonight (yum!) and one, they had desserts (usually not too common) and two, most of it was Ice Cream. This is quite common here, no matter the restaurant. I don’t know; it seems like a unique cultural phenomenon here. I didn’t actually have the ice cream tonight but had Red Beans and Mochi – hmmm…probably won’t get that again!!]
