The hotel has a wonderful theme for this holiday season: “Coming Home for Christmas.” And since Paul and I will be away from our home and family during this holiday season, their efforts will make it a little easier for us. To start off this week, the hotel brought in real trees from California – yes, REAL and from CALIFORNIA! Can you believe it?! I met a wonderful hotel employee today and she told me that there will be about 10-15 6ft trees throughout the hotel. And, the big one (25 ft) was coming in tonight! So, I called down to the lobby tonight to find out when. They told me it was getting set up right then so I headed right down and it was coming through the door! The pictures and videos below capture the experience. I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time – the smell is fantastic!!!
