S’pore Orchids, Part 1 of ??

The orchids here are beautiful. I have some pictures from the local area just to get you started but I can’t wait to get to the Botanical Gardens and the National Orchid Garden – then I’ll have lots of photos to share. But, see how interestingly they display them here. So it’s no surprise that the national flower of Singapore is the Vanda Miss Joaquim Orchid. I haven’t yet had a chance to take a picture of one myself.

    I L-O-V-E the orchids. That display of the Vanda orchids is such a GREAT display idea. WOW. I am completely impressed.

    My orchids here in the greenhouse are in bloom, well, some of them are. Please please take photos of the National Orchid Garden.

    Keep those stories coming I am really loving them.

    Devon, Fantastic! I didn't know you grew orchids?! I have two and they are being taken care of by my neighbor's daughter-in-law...so, it should be okay. I LOVE orchids too! We had them as our wedding flowers. I'm heading to the Botanical Gardens next week and they have the Ntl. Orchid Garden within that, so not to fret, there will be pictures galore!
